Who We Are

Choronga Safaris is a family-owned and operated outfitter. Founded in 2004 by Dangerous Game Licensed Professional Hunter Evan Sloan, Choronga Safaris has grown into one of the region’s most respected and trusted safari operations.

Evan began guiding professionally in South Africa in 1999 and has since hunted extensively throughout Southern Africa. His wife, Mia, joined the operation in 2008 and manages the logistics, planning, and client experience. Together with their family and long-standing professional team, Choronga Safaris operates with the personal attention and integrity that only a family business can provide.
