All preliminary trophy preparation after you have harvested your trophy takes place at Choronga Safaris. We understand that after all the priceless memories the physical trophy is the second most important aspect of your hunt. This is why we take extra steps ensuring the quality of your hides and horns, and use only the best taxidermists in the country.
After your trophies have been salted & dried we take them to our local taxidermist for all necessary preparations for export and/or any mounts you choose to have done in South Africa. If you choose to have your trophies dipped & dispatched to a taxidermist in your region it usually takes around 6 months. If you choose to have your trophies mounted in SA it usually takes a little over a year to get your trophies back to you.
