The Outfit: Choronga Safaris is located in the Limpopo Province of South Africa roughly 4 & 1/2 hours North of Johannesburg. This region, known as the Bushveld, is the most game rich habitat in all of Southern Africa. Evan and William have spent their entire lives hunting, and have years of experience hunting the Dark Continent.

While we take great pride in all aspects of your stay while on safari, hunting is our passion. All of our rifle hunting properties have large numbers of trophy quality bulls giving you multiple opportunities at all species. All rifle hunts take place on Choronga Safaris’ concessions along the Limpopo River and the surrounding Bushveld. Spot and stalk is the method of choice during rifle hunts, but we may use blinds for special circumstances that may arise during your safari. Our concessions are rich in game and provide you with the unique opportunity of hunting various types of terrain and habitat each and every day of your hunt.

The concessions along the Limpopo River have very large numbers of trophy Limpopo Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Kudu, Blue Wildebeest, and many of the smaller species. The concessions that are entirely sweet Bushveld are full of Eland, Kudu, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Springbok, and Blesbok as well as most of the smaller species. The Zimbabwean and Botswana hunting areas are mainly used to hunt Leopard, Cape Buffalo, and Sable. Combined, these habitats encompass a very wide range of huntable species.
