Dallas Safari Club (DSC):

  • Since 1972, Dallas Safari Club has been the gathering point for hunters, conservationists and wildlife enthusiasts. An international organization, we offer members a world of options: Annual conventions and expositions, Annual sporting clay events, Monthly meetings and other member activities, World class publications and a Grant in aid program that contributes hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to programs and projects promoting our mission to conserve wildlife and wilderness lands, to educate youth and the general public and to promote and protect the rights and interests of hunters worldwide.

Grand Slam Club / Ovis

Grand Slam Club / Ovis: THE GRAND SLAM CLUB/OVIS MISSION

  • Grand Slam Club/Ovis is an organization of hunter/conservationists dedicated to improving and perpetuating wild sheep and goat populations worldwide.
  • In March 2001, the Grand Slam Club and Ovis, Inc. merged into one organization and are now known as Grand Slam Club/Ovis. This organization is classified by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) organization. The purposes and objectives of Grand Slam Club/Ovis are to:
  • Continue to be the established documentation and records-keeping organization for legally-taken Grand Slams of North American wild mountain sheep, Ovis World Slams of wild sheep of the world, and Capra World Slams of wild goats of the world.
  • Encourage the use of legally issued permits, tags, and/or licenses for the hunting of wild mountain sheep and goats.
  • Inform and educate people of the world about wild mountain sheep and goats.
  • Use financial resources received from membership dues, donations, or fund-raising events to benefit, directly or indirectly, wild mountain sheep and goats by contributing these funds to/through established state, provincial, federal, or governmental game and wildlife agencies or other non-profit wildlife conservation organizations.

  • Our mission is to enhance wild sheep populations, promote professional wildlife management, educate the public about wild sheep and the conservation benefits of hunting, encourage fair chase hunting, and protect sportsmen's rights - while keeping administrative costs to a minimum.

Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation

Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF): Ensuring the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat
In support of this mission the Elk Foundation is committed to:
  • Conserving, restoring and enhancing natural habitats;
  • Promoting the sound management of wild, free-ranging elk, which may be hunted or otherwise enjoyed;
  • Fostering cooperation among federal, state, tribal and private organizations and individuals in wildlife management and habitat conservation; and
  • Educating members and the public about habitat conservation, the value of hunting, hunting ethics and wildlife management.
